IBANASCA FESTIVAL

A platform for the participation and visibility of women artists, rooted in exercises of memory, the recognition of popular cultures, ancestral knowledge in towns, cultural geography, and the identity of the Magdalena River.

Ibanasca Festival is a pioneer among women's urban art events in the country.

It has held four editions:
2021 - Mujer y Territorio
2022 - Cultura Popular y Ancestral
2023 - Territorio de Caminos
2024 - Mujeres y Saberes

Thanks to the festival’s production and its extensive Cultural Agenda—which includes gender-focused workshops, specialized talks, and the circulation of audiovisual content—the Ibanasca Cultural Ecosystem has sparked a wave of active participation. It has successfully attracted both local audiences and cultural agents from across the country, creating spaces for learning and collaboration that strengthen the connections between art and the community.

We are:

An interdisciplinary cultural management team that has been developing processes to strengthen social fabric through cultural, artistic, pedagogical, and circulation initiatives since 2021.

Among its standout projects is Ibanasca Festival, an urban art festival for women.
